Today we have this cute set featuring bunny rabbits called Hoppy Easter.

Here's my project using this set. I've kept it simple by colouring the grass with Copics and adding "buttercups" in the shape of little yellow blobs of Daffodil Liquid Pearls. To finish the card: 3 little clouds floating in the sky and off the card! :)

ATSM #228: Holiday

Hello again, friends! Time for another challenge over at Addicted To Stamps and More. This week the theme is my favourite - Holiday.

I made a Chinese New Year card using the Lunar Lights stamps by Lawn Fawn. The year of the Rooster started on January 28th, 2017.  I paper pieced the lanterns. To stamp the glow of the lanterns I used Delicata Gold ink.

I heat embossed the greeting with WOW Rich Gold EP and finished the card with a few tiny gold bling.
Challenges:
Inky Chicks #78: CAS
Make My Monday #39: Shimmer and Shine
Scrapbook Stamp Society #109: AG + Option Red

So now it's your turn to link up your project for the Holiday challenge. It can be any holiday - Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day etc.

Thanks for stopping by and have fun with this challenge.

MHKD February Release: Glory Of The Lord

Hello, friends! Welcome to Day 1 of MHKDesigns' February Release Party. Head on over to the MHK Designs ETSY Store for lots of lovely vintage designs that suit all crafting styles.

This month, MHKDesigns is releasing FIVE new digital stamp sets. Mynn has also added more Digital Paper Bundles that coordinate perfectly with her digi stamps. These are available for purchase NOW at the MHK Designs ETSY Store.

As a special treat to celebrate the February 2017 Release, Mynn is giving away sets from this release. More on how to win at the end of this post.

Today we have this floral beauty called Glory Of The Lord.

I wanted to keep this card as CAS as possible... which for me is not easy. The urge to fuss and fiddle is too great, but I persevered and produced this:

I coloured the morning glory with Copics, added some Stardust Stickles, a few sequins and finished the card with sheer green ribbon. Suddenly, it doesn't sound so CAS, does it?!

How To Win

In order to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE, here's what you'll need to do:

Chocolate Baroque: Heartfelt Thanks

Good morning, friends! I've been playing with 2 new A6 stamp sheets by Chocolate Baroque called Baroque Meadow and Words To Dazzle and Sparkle.

These new stamps were introduced on Hochanda last week and are exclusive for purchase through Hochanda for a few more days but they'll soon be available at Chocolate Baroque online store.

I made a thank you card featuring the images from Baroque Meadow and a sentiment from Words To Dazzle and Sparkle.

As started by masking off the moon with a circle die-cut before inking up the background with Distress Inks: Chipped Sapphire, Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick, Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo. Instead of stamping the silhouette image in black as I usually do, I went with Archival Ink Olive to contrast the moody background.

And to brighten the scene, I added white and glossy accent dots. I love the detail on the grassy silhouette image and it's so versatile too.
Challenges:
HeARTful Stamping Feb 5: For Someone Special + Rubber Stamp
Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends #51: AG
Gem Of A Challenge #187: Add A Butterfly

That's all from me today. The weather is being extremely uncooperative lately. There's some sort of storm brewing in the high seas and it's bringing frightfully HUGE waves. Last week it was a battle with ice and hailstorm. What surprise awaits us next week, I wonder! Stay safe and warm, friends!

I coloured the image with Copics, fussy cut and mounted it on some foam tape. And yes, these some Stardust Stickles and sequins for the mandatory sparkle!

Beijinhos,

Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #31

Welcome to Week 3 of Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #31. We have a pretty colour swatch for you to use in your projects. If you haven't played yet, now's the time to do so.

You can use any medium to create your projects: paints, inks, pencils, pens, stains, etc., as long as you stick to the colours from the colour swatch, using as much or as little of each colour as you wish. You don't have to use Chocolate Baroque stamps to play along but if you do you will be entered into a random draw to win £15 to spend on Chocolate Baroque stamps. All participants will have a chance to be on the Design Team's Top Three list and proudly display the winner's badge on their blog.

Since it's February, why not start the month with a sweet, romantic card. Inspired by the watercolour background in the colour swatch, I created a card featuring the rose and sentiment from the Rose Stem Script A6 stamp sheet. I heat embossed the Big Bold Leafy Background using WOW Brilliant White EP directly onto an A2 card. Then I inked it up with Bundled Sage Distress Ink.

I inked up a piece of watercolour paper with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Inks, sprinkled some water and dabbed off the excess. Then I stamped the rose script image using Ranger Cool Graphite Dye Ink. I stamped another set of leaves with Ranger Olive Archival Ink and the flower in Ranger Raspberry Sorbet Dye Ink on watercolour paper, and used Distress Inks to colour them. Then I fussy cut the leaves and the flower before adhering them to the main image. To finish the card, a few sequins and blobs of Ranger Glossy Accent.
Challenges:
Crafting By Designs February: AG
Crafty Creations #334: AG
Inspiration Destination #121: AG
Simon Says Stamp Monday: Colour of Love

Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #31 will close at 12.00 p.m. (UK) on Tuesday 14th February 2017, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 22nd February 2017. I hope you'll play along and run the risk of winning £15 to spend on Chocolate Baroque stamps.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a sweet day... and don't forget to take time to smell the roses!
