Hello again, friends! Time for another challenge over at Addicted To Stamps and More. This week the theme is Photo Inspiration. All you have to do is create a project inspired by this fun and vibrant photo. You can pick the colours, elements, textures etc. There's no right or wrong answer.
Looking at the photo, it's hard not to make a Halloween project. And so I went with the flow and made a cute but spooky Halloween card using some old stamps from my stash: Waltzing Mouse's Gracie at Halloween and Hocus Pocus.
From the photo, I picked the little witch, black cat and night sky, and incorporated these into my card.
To create the background I blended Distress Inks and used little drops of silver acrylic paint to make the stars. Not too shabby for a Halloween card, I dare say.
Here is Gracie whizzing about on her broomstick:
Here's a closer look at the image. I coloured it with Faber-Castell Polychromo pencils.
Now it's your turn to link up your project to the Photo Inspiration challenge. Don't forget to let us know what elements from the photo inspired you.
Thanks for stopping by and have fun with this challenge... Happy Halloween!
