First up - a thank you card for a friend. I'm using Vintage Flowers set by Altenew.
I added droplets of Glossy Accents for morning dew. I stamped the sentiment in LF Lobster and then again in Memento London Fog to create a shadow effect.

Next, is a birthday card for a friend who plays in our local marching band. I'm using Strike Up The Band by MFT - so perfect! Keeping it simple in the hope that it will look masculine enough for a bearded man drum major! I inked up the clouds in the background using Tumbled Glass DI.
Here's a closer look at those adorable mice. The greeting is from the same set. Notice the little drummer? It's an inside joke. We all know someone who marches to his own beat ... and sometimes, the wrong way! :)

That's all from me today. Thank you for stopping by...... must dash! See you on my rounds later today.
Stay cool!
Beijinhos!

Absolutely adore both creations. The first one is just pure vintage flower delight and I love the sentiment in the second. These are perfect for one entry as an anything goes creation for our challenge below.

ReplyDeleteYour two cards are so different one to the other but both so striking! Very beautiful makes!!
The first one looks so classy in pink and grey, a perfect CAS style with lovely sweet flowers and a catch-eyes sentiment that has a gorgous 3D shadow effect!
The second one make me smile very much and I'm sure that it will be the same effect to the recipient! Such a lovely, fun and happy card!! And it's really PERFECT for a person that play in a marching band, masculine or feminine!!! Amazing colours, beautiful clean design and soooo cute mice!!!
Baci e abbracci, buona Domenica !!!

Love the roses! They are so nicely coloured. I also like the shadow effect on the wording. The mice are great! I don't like mice in the house unless they are on a card. This card is adorable and I bet your friend will love it.
