You can use any medium to create your projects: paints, inks, pencils, pens, stains, etc., as long as you keep to the colours from the colour swatch. You don't have to use Chocolate Baroque stamps to play along but if you do you will be entered into a random draw to win £15 to spend on Chocolate Baroque stamps. All participants will have a chance to be on the Design Team's Top Three list and proudly display winner's badge on their blog.
When I made my card, I did not have anyone in mind. But these soft breezy summery colours would suit anyone. Throw in an encouraging message and I knew this card wouldn't be unemployed for long. True enough, it's on its way across the waters to someone who truly deserves it.
With new stamps to play with we often neglect out older ones. This week I went back in time and brought out Chocolate Baroque's Summer Fairy Collection from last year. This kneeling fairy is from the August Fairy DL sheet. I stamped the image with Memento Espresso Truffle - its softer than Tuxedo Black - and just for the leafy bits a little Memento Bamboo Leaves. I inked up the background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. For a magic in the sky I stamped the dandelion fluff (at least I think that's what it is) from the current release, Seasonal Fragments with VersaMagic Sea Breeze. The sentiment is from the Words Of Comfort and Cheer A5 sheet, stamped with Memento Morocco. To finish the card, a few tiny bling in the sky.
Here's a close up of the fairy. I coloured her with Graph'It Alcohol Markers and and slapped on lots of Stardust Stickles for her wings.

Well, it's 8 weeks today since Rosie left. It's a slow process but I'll get there. She was larger than life and always will be.
Thank you for stopping by today. The weather man says it will be a scorcher. Hah! We'll see. He usually gets it wrong. Maybe today is his day :) Enjoy the sun, friends!
