Over at Tuesday Throwdown, we're kicking off our own love fest with this week's Challenge #133 called "Heart Strings". Our sponsor this week is Robin's Fetish but you can use any stamp or digi. All you have to do is make sure that your project has a heart and some string or twine. It couldn't be easier. And if you need some inspirational boost visit our design team and I guarantee you'll come away bursting with ideas.
Here's my simple offering for you:
I'm using these pastel pink and blue heart papers from PolkaDoodles "Sugar Birdies" CD. I applied some Crystal Stickles on the hearts. Then I adhered some bling - pink and blue - at the four corners and some red twine to tie it all together. Finally, I fussy cut the digi and layered it on a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval die cut.
As you can see, it's a tent card and I popped the image up on some foam tape.
Here's close up of the adorable digi. The bear hugging the heart is called "It's Bearly Love" and I superimposed the sentiment "I Heart U" over the heart. I coloured the bears and the heart with SN alcohol markers.
I had to use some more twine on the inside.
So there you have it. Now let's see your creative efforts. Use any stamp but make sure you include a heart and some string or twine. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
In the meantime, I'm taking my card to the following challenges: Created with Love Challenges #27 "Valentine's Day"; Creative Creations Challenges #3 "It Must Be Love"; Craft Your Passion Challenges #148 "Pastels"; Ginger Love #56 "Love Is In The Air"; Great Impressions February Challenge "Have A Heart" ; Scrapper's Delights Challenge "It Is All About Love"; Dream Valley Challenges #50 "Valentine's" and Challenges4Everybody #13 "Anything Goes".
Thanks for stopping by and I'll see ya soon!
