Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #34

Welcome to Week 2 of Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #34. We have a lovely colour swatch for you to use in your projects. If you haven't played yet, now's the time to do so.

You can use any medium to create your projects: paints, inks, pencils, pens, stains, etc., as long as you stick to the colours from the colour swatch, using as much or as little of each colour as you wish. You don't have to use Chocolate Baroque stamps to play along but if you do you will be entered into a random draw to win £15 to spend on Chocolate Baroque stamps. All participants will have a chance to be on the Design Team's Top Three list and proudly display the winner's badge on their blog.

Here's my offering for this challenge featuring a stamp from the Pretty Birdcage A5 sheet.  This is such a lovely image, I did not want to draw attention away from it with my fussing and fiddling. So, the plan is to keep it mostly neutral with pops of colour and to pull it all together with layers of matting with colours prescribed by the swatch.

I stamped the image onto water colour paper with VersaFine Vinage Sepia ink and coloured it with Caran d'Ache Supracolor Soft Aquarelle Pencils. There's the obligatory Wink of Stella Gold and little red bling. I said minimal fussing not none at all!
Challenges:
Creative Creations #340: AG
Word Art Wednesday #280 & #281: AG Inspirational
Creative Scoop Inspiration Monday #21: Hand-coloured
Path of Positivity: Beauty of Nature - bird lured out of its golden cage by the beauty of nature

Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #34 will close at 12.00 p.m. (UK) on Tuesday 16th May 2017, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 24 May 2017. I hope you'll play along and run the risk of winning £15 to spend on Chocolate Baroque stamps.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Beijinhos!
