Here's my autumn offering for the Canadian Thanksgiving which falls on October 10 this year. The fruity border is from the Mellow Fruitfulness A5 sheet. I decided on a simple greeting in French from the Pretty Poppies A5 sheet as this card is going to friends from Quebec.
I inked the edges with Distress Inks: Fossiled Amber and a touch of Spiced Marmalade to create a golden halo effect. To finish the card, some gingham ribbon tied in a simple knot in yellow and orange to match the background.
I stamped the greeting with VersaFine Crimson Red. For the image I used Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured it with Copics.
