Thank You, Friend!

Well hello, friends. I just realised that I have a couple of projects for Card Chain Challenge that I made and completely forgot to show you. I blame a combination of heat, old age and ... well, I'm sure there are a dozen different reasons. So, let's get down to business, shall we?

May Card Chain Challenge:
I used LF Critters In The Dog Park to make a shaker card for Janet in Mauritius.

June Card Chain Challenge:
I used Hero Arts Colour Layering For You Flowers stamps to make a thank you card for Stacy in Nevada. I used LF Stitched Rectangle die to cut out the background patterned paper.

I loved this design so much that I made another for a dear friend and it looks like this. I heat embossed the greeting in with WOW Rich Gold EP and cut it out with a Spellbinder die.

Here's a closer-up of those lovely flowers:

Cut It Up #100: AG + Die Cut

I have a busy weekend of chores... laundry, ironing and don't even get me started on the garden! The fruit bats are eating my figs, the lemons are all ripening at the same time and the baby pomegranates don't seem to be growing at all!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're doing something fun this weekend.

Beijinhos!

  1. Three lovely sweet cards (as the one you have sent me! :D...)and a great attention to the colours combo, as always!
Working in the garden is fatiguing, but it gives so much peace, even if Mother Nature doesn't do what we expected...
I think you will make so much lemonades :D or the more alcoholic "limoncello", do you know it? ;D
I didn't know that the bats of the fruit existed, in Italy there aren't. But there are a lot of magpies that are eating my figs, peaches and tomatoes :(
    Also they need to eat...

  10. Oh, eye candy!! The first one is so sweet, I love papers with spots and this one looks so sweet with these delicate colors that are well coordinated with the image.
Your flowers cards look stunning! And even though the stamps and layout are the same they look different. A go to layout in my opinion.

  11. These are gorgeous, Asha! I love critters and shakers, so the first card is right up my alley! Loving the papers you used on all of these cards too! Sounds like you have a wonderful garden full of all kinds of goodness - I hope things turn around! As a side note, bats are nearly extinct here due to a fungus but I don't think we ever had fruit bats. Our mosquito population has exploded due to no bats - it's no fun going outside!
