MHKDesigns: Prayers and Love

Hello friends! Today I want to share with you a card with a heartfelt sentiment, featuring a lovely floral spray from the Perfect Poppies digi set. I've paired this image with the recently released French  Country digital paper pack.

For a soft feminine look I framed the image with lace and lined it with a used dryer sheet before mounting the image on some foam tape. I coloured the flowers with Faber Castell Polychromo pencils and finished the design with a few tiny bling and some Wink of Stella Clear shimmer.

Here's a closer look at the image. I also added some Black Stickles to the centre of the flowers. This is a versatile card and the uplifting sentiment is perfect for bereavement or get well wishes or whenever a little encouragement is needed.

Thank you for stopping by. The weekend is almost here... just a few more hours and we can all relax. I'm hoping to get some yard work done. It's looking like the travelling circus has come and gone. I blame the dogs, cat, birds ... but it's certainly NOT due to my neglect! :)

I'll leave you with a picture of Peanut on the naughty step. She got a head start on the yard work by digging a few holes craters. It's time out for the little minx!

Beijinhos!

  5. Oh, I thought that Peanuts was baby boy! :D ...She is so sweet and regret :) Adorable :D
Fabulous card, beautiful coloured as all your works... and really very feminine with the lace around and the delicate dryer sheet! Such a clever idea!
I have to say that the dryer sheets in Italy are a bit different: more thick, dense and therefore not transparent... someone has the wide sweater, but not so delicate and beautiful as this one!
Love the black stickles in the center of the poppies and the touch of wink of stella!!! Adorable creation!
Hugs my friend, have a sweet weekend!

So sorry my visits have been a bit irregular lately, MIL was here 5 nights from mid May, the following weekend my parents spent with us in Oslo and have just now completed a trip to celebrate hubby's sisters' (twins) 50th birthday. 1000 km driving in two days. Weekdays spent at work and outdoors. Soon going on holiday, but things will get back to normal again in July:) I'll be around as much as I can the next couple of weeks.
