Hello, friends and welcome to another month of Chocolate Baroque inspired fun - Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #22. We have a lovely colour swatch for you to use in your projects - warm vibrant colours. If you haven't played yet, now's the time to do so.You can use any medium to create your projects: paints, inks, pencils, pens, stains, etc., as long as you stick to the colours from the colour swatch, using as much or as little of each colour as you wish. You don't have to use Chocolate Baroque stamps to play along but if you do you will be entered into a random draw to win £15 to spend on Chocolate Baroque stamps. All participants will have a chance to be on the Design Team's Top Three list and proudly display winner's badge on their blog.
I'm loving that super bright and happy colour combo. It screams sunshine, good times and a healthy dose of fun. This bird from Chocolate Baroque's Free As A Bird is a perfect fit. I kept the design simple, so that the bird is the star of this show. To colour the edges I used Distress Inks and added little drops of Mint Green Liquid Pearls to added some interest to a flat card. And I thought some wonky layering might be fun too.
I stamped the image with Memento Rich Cocoa and coloured the bird with Graph'It Markers and used Faber Castell Polychromos for everything else. And yes... a generous coat of Clear Wink of Stella.

Your cards have always a fabulous light inside, Asha! And even this one is so bright, such a fabulous colouring! Great use of the wink of stella! This gorgous birdie seems really free in the morning light, and curious of world. So cute! I think that these layers are perfect to add movement, as the little pearls drops.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend! Here the sun shines :D
