Tuesday Throwdown #287: Add Lace

Good morning, friends! Time for a new theme over at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge and this week were are playing "Add Lace". Our sponsor for this challenge is The Ribbon Resource and they have tons of gorgeous ribbons, lace and other pretty trimmings for your crafty needs.

My card project features a length of simple white lace tied in a bow. This is a sympathy card and I'm keeping it simple and tasteful. The bluebells are from Clearly Besotted's Fresh Flowers set, heat embossed in white on Canson Watercolour Paper and coloured with Caran d'Ache Supra Soft water colour pencils.

Here's a close-up. I added a few blobs of Baby Blue Liquid Pearls and a couple of strokes of Clear Wink of Stella.
Challenges:
Craft Your Passion #305: AG
Addicted To CAS #84: Delicate
Come and Get It: In the Garden
Fantasy Stamper #59: In The Springtime

Now it's your turn to create a project based on this week's theme: "Add Lace". For ideas and inspiration, take a peek at what the rest of the DT members have made. Remember to link up your project at the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Blog by 3pm Pacific / 11pm UK on Monday, April 4th.  And the most important requirement: Have Fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a brilliant day and I'll see you tomorrow!

  19. You said it so well, simple and tasteful, yes, that's what this card is. Beautiful and I love the idea of using lace the way you would use ribbon, making a bow.
