MHKDesigns January / February Challenge

Hello, friends!  Here we are - at our very first MHKDesigns Challenge. It's all about keeping it fun and simple, so each each month you will get  a photo and colour swatch prompt. YOU decide which you're inspired by to create your work of art. It can be either or both. AND you are free to make what ever paper project you fancy - a card, scrapbook layout, a tag, a box, art journal page... you choose! The options are limitless.

The Design Team will be showcasing products from MHKDesigns Etsy Shop and we would love to see you use them too. However, you are free to use any products and enter the challenge to win some fabulous goodies by MHKDesigns.

Let's take a look at the Challenge prompt:

Inspired by both the photo and the colours, I incorporated the wooden background, the ribbon and the stemmed flower into my card. In my stash of MHKDesigns are two products that work perfectly for this challenge: Tulip of Thanks digital stamps and Worn & Weathered paper bundle. Here's the end result, a simple design with a beautiful expression of gratitude.

I coloured the flowers with Faber-Castell Polychromos, added some Stardust Stickles and finished the card with a simple knot at the base of the stem. And that's all it takes to say Thank YOU!
