Reach For The Sky

Hello friends! How's the weekend going so far? Over here it's wet, cold and windy. Perfect weather to stay home but we've got quite a lot going on outside. We continuing the Oct 4th World Animal Day celebrations because here in Portugal we strongly believe in making the most out of a good event. Why stop at just one day day when we can have an entire week!

Before we step out in the rain, here's another card for Becca's Hop To Stop. For more details on how to participate in this event please visit the Hop To Stop Facebook Page. A link-up for the hop was posted over at Becca's Blog Damsel In Distress on October 1 and will close October 14 . Prize winners will be announced October 17. There are TONS of amazing sponsors for this blog hop, so you don't want to miss out!

I'm using a beautiful digi set by MHK Designs called Butterfly Wisdom and papers from a lovely bundle called Positively Purple. I'm keeping the design really simple by printing the butterflies directly onto the patterned paper and adding a few sequins and tiny bling - all in purple, of course!

I partial-cut the sentiment with Spellbinder Standard Circle die, fussy cut around the butterfly wings and popped it up on foam tape.

That's all from us today. We'll be donning out waterproofs - Peanut included - for our local Word Animal Day Week festivities. It's going to be a morning of wet dogs ... nice! LOL.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely weekend, everyone!

Beijinhos!

  21. It's a great idea for a quick card to print images directly onto DP. Just a little bling and it's done! So much more personal than a store bought card. And with the money invested in this hobby I can't afford a store bought card for the rest of my life, lol.
