MHK Designs: Spooky

Good morning, friends! And welcome to MHK Designs' October Release Party. If you are new to this, let me tell you that Mynn Kitchen of On A Stampage has launched her very own line of digital stamps and papers. Over at the MHK Designs ETSY Store you will find the most delightfully adorable vintage designs that work for all crating styles.

This month MHK Designs is  FIVE new digital stamp sets. Mynn has added more Digital Paper Bundles that coordinate perfectly with her digi stamps. These are available for purchase NOW at the MHK Designs ETSY Store.

Over the next 5 days, the Design Team will be showcasing the new digital stamp sets. As a special treat to celebrate the MHK Designs October 2015 Mini Release, Mynn is giving away a set to a lucky winner who will be randomly drawn from all the comments on Mynn's blog On A Stampage.

We begin our October Mini Release Party with a seasonal set called Spooky. Head on over to MHK Designers and Friends Facebook Group for more information and inspiration. Here's a look at Spooky:

My first card features that spooky tree. I kept the design simple by inking the background with Mowed Lawn and Chipped Sapphire. The background paper is from an old Fancy Pants 6x6 pad called Oct 31st.  Some black bling and the card is done. Super easy to make.
Challenge:
Moving Along With The Times: Haloween
Chocolate Coffee Cards #102: Halloween
Time Out #42: Photo Inspiration (the candelabra with the striped pumpkin reminds me of a tree)

My second card is also equally simple. I've got the crow walking over the sentiment. I've matted and layered the image with Spellbinder die cuts and inked the edge with Seedless Preserve. A strip of Black Glitter Tape by Heidi Swapp and black brads by Doodlebug complete this super easy card. The background paper is a piece of scrap from one of my many (scary) Gelli plate experiments!
Challenge:
Fussy And Fancy #150: Orange, Black, Purple
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday: Colour Inspiration
Fusion: Hallow's Eve - Photo Inspiration (colours, image, frame)

  24. Your cards are both wonderful. I really like the way you inked your sky on the first card, and I agree with you that the tree is reminiscent of the candelabra. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
