First up is a country inspired In this card, I've used the individual owls and the grassy border from Owl Hedges to create a scene where the owls are looking out from a crack in the side of a barn. You could easily make this a tree trunk or a wooden fence.
To create the woody background, emboss a piece of card stock with the wood grain folder and dirty it up with distress inks: Walnut Stain, Gathered Twigs, Old Paper and Frayed Burlap. Then cut it into ½" strips, ink the sides and rearrange them. Next, make a hole, adhere the strips down on grey card and add the fussy cut grassy border, also from Owl Hedges. Heat emboss the sentiment from Words of Comfort with WOW Ebony EP on a piece of vellum and adhere to the card with tiny drop of Ranger Glossy Accent.
Finally the owls: colour with Faber-Castell Polychromos, fussy cut and adhered in the opening.

The Male Room: Autumn / Fall
Sticking with the owl theme, this time I'm showcasing the row of these cutties on a branch, also from the Owl Hedges sheet. First, create the background by masking the moon and blending Distress Inks: Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey and Fossilised Amber. Next stamp a the row of owls in the bottom edge with VersaFine Vintage Sepia. Stamp the owl again on white card, colour with Faber-Castell Polychromos and fussy cut just the owls.
To add a little movement to the background, stamp an image from the Seasonal Fragments sheet with VersaFine Toffee. Next, stamp a greeting from Birthday Words with VersaFine Habanero.
Finally, adhere the fussy cut owls to the stamped image on the card front.
