52 {C}CT June Theme Challenge

It's the first day of summer and of course it makes perfect sense that we should be crafting Christmas card.  The girls at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown, under the guidance of our lovely hostess, Louise of Cats, Cards and Cupcakes have made some adorable samples to inspire you. The theme is week is "Rudolf / Reindeer".

Our guest designer for the month - the talented Marie Flayer of NJ Stamping Queen - will be playing along too. Please stop by Marie's blog ... you won't be disappointed!

Here's my card featuring a certain red-nosed chap from HOTP's Enchanted Christmas acrylic stamp set. I bought this set way back in 2012 ...

No patterned papers. I stamped the snowflakes onto some pale blue CS with VersaColor Silver
along with a little Stickles Stardust.

I stamped the trees with Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy, fussy cut it and added some
green bling. For the reindeer I used Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate, more fussy
cutting and a big red bling for his nose. The greeting is also from the same set,
stamped with Memento Rhubarb Stalk.

VersaColor Silver for the corner flourishes and Brilliance pearlescent Ivy for the
sentiment.

Rudolf is prancing off to these challenges:

CHNC Extra June: AG Christmas
Completely Christmas #17: AG Christmas
Christmas Stamping All Year Long #16: AG Christmas + Photo Inspiration - colours, snow
Festive Friday #34: Photo Inspiration - colours, sentiment, tree
Word Art Wednesday #137: AG Uplifting
Jingle Belles: A Christmas Story

Now it's your turn to create a festive card based on this week's Theme: "Rudolf / Reindeer". In order to be considered for Top Honour and Honourable Mentions, your new card must follow the challenge theme and you must link it to the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown Challenge Blog by 6pm GMT / 1pm EST on Friday, 27th June. And here's the most important rule: Have Fun!

That's all from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be out most of the day...and evening. My spider sense hasn't stopped tingling all day yesterday. Hubby has been slinking around all week; he's up to something, for sure. And it's taking all my will power not to stick my beak in it! LOL!

Have a lovely midsummer's day, my friends!

Beijinhos!
