52 {C}CT June Sketch Challenge

It's June and we have a new month of challenges over at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown AND a new hostess, Louise of Cats, Cards and Cupcakes. We're kicking off with a sketch... and it's an easy one.

We also have a new guest designer for the month - the talented Marie Flayer of NJ Stamping Queen. Marie will be showing us her fabulous festive makes.  Please stop by Marie's blog ... at the risk of being totally amazed by her work!

Enough small talk. Here's my offering for this week:

The background paper is a loose pile of very old Christmas 6" sheet.
Not sure what it's called. Embellies: sheer ribbon, twine and a couple of bling.
The greeting is from CBS Tag Along.

The focal image is this red robin from CBS Merry Little Christmas. I coloured him with
Graph'It markers (body: 3245, 3255, 3270, 3280; breast: 5210, 5220, 5245; hat: 5260,
5270, 5280; beak: 1210, 1230; feet: 3120, 3130). For cutting and layering: SB Circles
and Scalloped Circles dies .... and to finish: some LiquidPearl dots and some glittery flock
on the trim of Robin's hat.

On the inside is a greeting and little stars  from CBS Merry Little Christmas.

This little robin redbreast will be tweeting over at these challenges:

Word Art Wednesday #135: AG Uplifting
Completely Christmas #15: AG Christmas
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long #14: AG Christmas with Ribbon & Trim
Crimbo Crackers #66: AG Christmas
Festive Friday #33: Photo Inspiration (red, browns, snow... and there's got to be a robin in those trees!)
CHNC Extra June: AG Christmas

Now it's your turn to create a festive card based on this week's Sketch challenge. In order to be considered for Top Honour and Honourable Mentions, your new card must follow the challenge sketch and you must link it to the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown Challenge Blog by 6pm GMT / 1pm EST on Friday, 13th June (eeeek!). And here's the most important rule: Have Fun!

Rosie's Update: She had her first cycle of chemo on Thursday. So far so good... no vomiting etc. She's not eating well and need plenty of coaxing and persuading. She need's to be well nourished and I keep telling her now is not the time to worry about her ample figure! She (WE) are very grateful for your thoughts and prayers. One down... 3 more cycles to go!

Thank you for stopping by and have a beautiful weekend, my friends!

Beijinhos!

And at least none of the little she eats is coming up :( Still. It's always bizarre to have to coax a dog to eat!
