Polka Doodles #22: Men On Our Minds

Woohoo! It's Friday!!! New challenge over at Polka Doodles and we have "Men On Our Minds". We want to see butch, manly, virile, macho projects! Can you handle the testosterone overload!?!

Take a look at my buff and brawny guy:

This strapping lad is called Jack and he comes from glens of Scotland.
You can also find him in the Bonbon Belles CD. The background papers
are also from the same CD. I fussy cut the image and adhered him to the
inside of the card. To finish: some twine and black bling.

Don't let that the skirt fool ya. Jack is butch, buff, and for kicks,
he paints his face and goes to war looking all scruffy and manly.
I coloured him with Graph'It and Promarkers.

Here he is on the inside... Go on, admit it. He is CUTE!

Jack is strutting his stuff at these challenges:

4 Crafty Girlz #19: AG
Cute Card Thursday #323: Blues & Hues
Delightful Challenges: It's A Guy Thing
Addicted to Stamps & More: Make Your Mark
Crafting For All Seasons #78: Boys Will Be Boys
The Paper Shelter #160: Make It Manly

Now it's over to you, my friends. Create a project - it can be any paper craft - based on the theme "Men On Our Minds" and link it up over at Polka Doodles Challenge blog by Noon (GMT) June 13th. The winner will receive the Work & Play 1 Collection worth £11. The identity of this lucky person will be revealed on Friday June 20th.

Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your lovely projects.

Beijinhos!

  19. I love chevron patterned papers, they're so great for both masculine and feminine cards, and this one has a beautiful summery color combo. I like how you placed the image on the inside and cut out a frame on the front. Nice stitching and banner details too!
