Eclectic Ellapu: Spring

Hello again, my friends. I'm back to introduce you to 2 new challenges that have started over at the Eclectic Ellapu Blog. Once again, the 2 teams - Pinks and Purples - are playing together in the same sandpit. And to make sure we don't fight, each team has its very own theme.

The Pinkies are rejoicing in the beauty of  "Spring" and the Purplies are having fun with a "Sketch". The two challenges will run for 3 weeks and you can enter one or both as many times as you like.

Here's my Spring offering for the Pink Team:
I made my own background paper with a stamp from Clearly Besotted Stamp's
Geometric Style, TH Spun Sugar Distress Ink and cream CS. For the circle element
I cut a piece of patterned paper from MME Quite Contrary collection using SB's
Circle die and layered it on some hot pink CS cut with SB's Scalloped Circle die.
The greeting is from CBS's Fresh Flowers; Spring is stamped VersaMagic Tea Leaves,
and Hugs & Kisses with VersaFine Onyx Black. SB dies for cutting and layering.

Here is a close up of the flower from CBS Fresh Flowers, coloured with
Promarkers, cut and mounted on some foam tape. To finish I adhered tiny
yellow bling in the middle of each flower and tied some pink twine on the stalk.

The sentiment on the inside is from CBS's Fabulous Fuchsias

I'm spreading some spring joy over at these challenges:

Stamplorations May Challenge: Stamps & Flowers
Creative Corner: Going In Circles
Crafts For Eternity #176: To Die For
Craftitude Challenges #65; That's Die-licious
Charisma Cardz #11: May Flowers
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Die Crazy

Now it's your turn to create and link up your labour of love over at the Eclectic Ellapu Challenge Blog. Remember, we have 2 concurrent challenges: "Spring" for the Pink Team and "Sketch" for the Purple Team. You can enter both as many times as you wish. These challenge will run for 3 weeks and you have until 11:59pm GMT on June 7th 2014 to link up your entries.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fun day of crafting!

Beijinhos!

  21. Holy cow, this is fabulous, Asha! I sit here up to my eyeballs in store-bought patterned paper and I'm ashamed of myself. For one, I don't hardly use it, and for two, I love to stamp so why buy store-bought? This is inspirational in so many ways!! Good luck with the challenges! It's a winner in my book. Hugs, Darnell
