Christmas Card Club #11: Card Recipe

Hello and happy Monday, my friends! I'm starting the week with an overdue card. The Christmas Card Club came together yesterday for a show and tell of our festive makes. I should have joined the girls but didn't. As always, these beautiful ladies were so very understanding, especially Zoë Tant, our challenge hostess.

I have to say, Zoe's theme really had me scratching my head. Her brief: 3 Brads, 1 Button, Ribbon and 1 Accessory (a.k.a embellishment). It sounds easy  ... but you try and get it all on a card. I had a good start until I started accessorising. ONE bling for Christmas? Not on my watch! Here's the end result:
The patterned papers are from Dovecraft Back to Basics
Christmas - Vintage pack. 3 green brads, 1 green button,
gingham ribbon and  ...
... green bling galore! Now it looks like Christmas! The big greeting is from
Chocolate Baroque's Christmas Cheer A5 sheet, stamped with Memento
Rhubarb Stalk, cut with SB Label 16 and inked with TH Vintage Photo and
Antique Linen. The Holly Leaves are also from the same CB A5 sheet. I cut
away the swirly bits and coloured the leaves with Promarkers, added green
bling and Crystal Stickles.
On the inside I'm using a sentiment from Polka Doodle's
Angelberry Christmas. And at the bottom: the holly leaves
stamped in full with the the swirly bits and coloured with
Caran d'Ache SupraSofts.

Spreading some Christmas Cheer over at these sites:
