52 {C}CT May Stash Challenge

Well here we are again, friends! Time for another 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown. It's the fourth challenge of the month and our lovely hostess Ruth of Flower Sparkle wants us to have a rummage through our Stash and use Something Old, Something New, Something, Borrowed and Something Blue in our Christmas project. You don't have to use all four categories, you can if you want to, but you must use at least three.

We have the lovely Judy V of Created Just 4 U! showcasing her stunning creations this month. Please stop by and take a look at her card.

After last week's traditional, masculine card, I made something more modern, delicate and almost CAS for our current challenge using OLD greeting stamp (purchased in Oct 2011, used many times), NEW floral stamp (purchased in April 2014, never used before) and BLUE cardstock, ink, markers, bling and ribbon.

No patterned papers, just and embossed background using Darice
Snowflakes EF. The greeting is from WMS Compliments Of The Season,
stamped with Memento Paris Dusk and cut with SB Labels 4. To finish:
ribbon, bling and glitter.

The bluebells are from Clearly Besotted's Fresh Flowers set,
coloured with Promarkers and lashing of Stardust Stickles.

The sentiment and extra design elements are also from
WMS Compliments Of The Season.

A few challenges for this card:

Crimbo Crackers #65: No Patterned Papers
Word Art Wednesday #133: AG Uplifting
Brown Sugar #95: AG
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long #12: AG Christmas
CHNC Extra May: AG Christmas
Crafty Catz #232: Embossing
Completely Christmas #13: AG Christmas

Now it's your turn to create a festive card based on this week's stash challenge: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. In order to be considered for Top Honour and Honourable Mentions, your new card must follow the challenge sketch and you must link it to the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown Challenge Blog by 6pm GMT / 1pm EST on Friday, 30th May. And here's the most important rule: Have Fun!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see y'all tomorrow!

Beijinhos!

  28. Oh dear. Asha, if your "old" thing is just from 2011, then I must have some really ancient stamps, cardstock, and embellishments in my craft stash! LOL!
The frosty bluebells are so pretty against that gorgeous embossed background! As always, your perfect stitching is a wonderful finishing touch.
