52 {C}CT May Colour Challenge

Here we are again, friends! Time for another 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown. It's the second challenge of the month and we are focussing on Colour. Our lovely hostess Ruth of Flower Sparkle has chosen five contemporary colours. You don't have to use all of them on your project, you can if you want to, but you must use at least three colours.

After last week's traditional vintage style card, I decided to go for something more modern and CAS. Much to my own surprise, I actually managed to use all five colours!

No patterned papers on this one, I made my own with a square stamp from
Clearly Besotted's Geometric Style and TH Spun Sugar. The greeting is from
CBS Tag Along.

For these funky modern wreaths I used CBS Signature Christmas and dies.
The inks are TH Seedless Preserve, Pickled Raspberry and VersaMagic Tea Leaf.
And several bling ... this is a Christmas card!

On the inside, a sentiment from CBS Signature Christmas.

Challenges for this card:

Now it's your turn to create a festive card based on this week's challenge: Colour Combo. In order to be considered for Top Honour and Honourable Mentions, your new card must follow the challenge sketch and you must link it to the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown Challenge Blog by 6pm GMT / 1pm EST on Friday, 16th May. And here's the most important rule: Have Fun!

Rosie's news: Regular readers will know that Rosie has not been feeling well of late. She went in for a CT scan yesterday and there it is: another mass in her inner ear!  We're talking to the surgeon and her oncologist about treatment options... most likely to be as before: surgery followed by chemo. Almost a year after the completion of her last chemo and we're doing the same dance again. Cancer is a dreaded thing... it never leaves you alone! Thank you for all for your kind wishes, love and cuddles for Rosie. I'll leave you with a photo of my brave little soldier.
Christmas Day 2012 - Rosie 4 days after her first surgery.

Beijinhos!
