Tuesday Throwdown #191: Vintage / Shabby Chic

Welcome to another  Tuesday Throwdown and this week we are sponsored by the good folks over at Really Reasonable Ribbon. They have a HUGE variety of ribbons, twine, seam binding, hemp cording, ric rac trim ... even buttons!

The theme for this week's challenge is: "Vintage / Shabby Chic". Here's my offering:

The patterned papers are from Prima's Botanical collection.
I distress the edges, inked all around with TH Antique Linen
and finished with some sheer brown ribbon tied in a bow.
The birthday greeting is from Clearly Besotted's Tag Along,
stamped with TH Vintage Photo.
Here's a close-up of the image from Chocolate Baroque's Music Fanfare.
I coloured it with Graph It and Promarkers and finished with pearls in the
middle of each flower.

The sentiment inside is from Clearly Besotted's Say It In Style.
I stamped with VersaMagic Tea Leaf, and again without re-inking.

A few challenges for this card:

  20. That DP is absolutely stunning with this CB image. Pretty stitching and this is really too pretty to be called 'shabby chic'. I'll have to say it is "Vintage Chic"?. Very sophisticated too. Whatever it's called, it's lovely. TFS & Happy Easter.
