Tuesday Throwdown #189: Crop Your Digi

Hello April!!! And welcome to a brand new Tuesday Throwdown. It's challenge #189 and the theme is "Crop Your Digi". All you have to do is create a project using just a portion of the original image. How easy is that?!

Our challenge is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and they have very graciously supplied a few exceedingly cute images for the DT.  I chose a digi called It's A Dragon Fly Day and cropped it to make this birthday card:

The background patterned paper is from First Edition's Spring Feast set.

I coloured the image with Caran d'Ache Suprasoft pencils, did some doodling to tone
down the blindingly bright white background and finished it off with some bling.

Nothing special on the inside, just a simple wish.

And now for some challenges:

Now it's your turn, my friends. Create a card based on this week's theme of "Crop Your Digi". For ideas and inspiration, swing by and take a peek at the of the DT member. Then, link up your project to the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge blog by 3pm PST / 11pm  GMT on Monday, April 7th. And don't forget to have fun!

Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing you in blogland!

Beijinhos!

  14. Checking in from my sunny holiday away from home to catch up on your latest work.
I often end up fussy cutting my images to avoid the large white space as background and I really like your idea of adding a soft colored doodling, thanks for the tip!
