Eclectic Ellapu: One For The Boys

Hello again, my friends. I'm back to introduce you to 2 new challenges that have started over at the Eclectic Ellapu Blog. Once again, the 2 teams - Pinks and Purples - are playing together in the same sandpit. And to make sure we don't fight, each team has its very own theme.

The Pinks are going all macho with "One For The Boys" and the Purples are rejoicing with "Easter". Both challenges will run for 3 weeks and you can enter one or both  challenges as many times as you like.

I'm on the Pink Team and here is my sea-world-collage-boy-card. Two stamp sets from Chocolate Baroque were called to task for this project: Seashell Collage and Underwater. All the elements used to create this card came from both these sets.

I started by blending TH's Distress Inks: Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass for the sea.
Antique Linen, Old Paper and Scattered Straw for the seabed.

Then I stamped several seashells form the CB stamps sets, fussy cut them and adhered
to ocean floor. For a sandy texture, I dotted some Liquid Pearls.

To give the sea some movement, I lightly ran a dry Caran d'Ache Suprasoft in
Sky Blue across the sea and added some tiny blue bling. The seahorse and the and
the anchor are sitting on foam tape.

More goodies from the sea on the inside!

Sailing off to these challenges:

Now it's your turn to create and link up your labour of love over at the Eclectic Ellapu Challenge Blog. Remember, we have 2 concurrent challenges: "One For The Boys" for the Pink Team and "Easter" for the Purple Team. This challenge will run for 3 weeks and you have until 11:59pm GMT on April 20th.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fun day of crafting!

Beijinhos!

  10. Did you do any masking as well? This is so great and I need some stamps for the sea and a seahorse and a mermaid:) My stamp store is closing( I call it mine because it is my therapy store). The people who own it are in their 70's and they are retiring so I am bummed. So yesterday I did some more therapy and bought a ton. I love your card and all the colours of the shells-just beautiful. I was looking at all the little bling too
