Sending Love

This is going to be a very quick post, my friends. As most of you know, we recently suffered the loss of someone very near and dear to us.  A week has past, but it will take a while before everyone is back to the daily routine, especially so for our "prima" (cousin). She was very close to her mother and needs all the love and support we can give her. I made her this card to let her know just that.

I'm using Clearly Besotted's Background Builder for the polka dot borders, with
VersaColor Sage. I embossed the bit in the middle with the Swiss Dots EF.

The flower and sentiment are from the Take Good Care set. I coloured the flower with
Promarkers. For cutting and layering: SB Circles and Scalloped Circles dies. I stamped
the sentiment with VersaFine Black Onyx. The butterflies are from the Butterfly Wishes
set. The bigger one I heat embossed in white on vellum and the smaller with VersaMagic
Mango Madness on plain white CS for a pop of colour... and a few bling for a little sparkle.

This sentiment is also from the Take Good Care set, stamped with VersaFine Olympia Green.
I couldn't help but add another little Mango Madness butterfly - LOVE the name and colour...
and it describes our cousin perfectly!

How about you join me in these challenges:

MojoMonday #336: Sketch
Clearly Besotted #9: In Flight - butterflies
Make It Monday #182 FINAL: AG
Make My Monday: Spring
Die Cut Divas March; Let's Emboss It!
CAS on Sunday #28: Colour Me Pretty

That's all for now, my friends. It has been a surprisingly pleasant day today. Sunny and cool .... looks like spring is just around the corner. Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy this lovely Monday.
