Tuesday Throwdown #181: Sketch

Are you ready for another Tuesday Throwdown challenge? This week we've got a sketch for you, an easy one. And I had great fun making this simple card love themed card, thanks to the adorable image so generously provided by Robyn's Fetish. Their online store is simply bursting with the cutest digi stamps and papers. Well worth a peek, I say.

Anyways, with Valentine's just ten days away I'll give this card to hubby. After all, he did make me breakfast this morning... and he dropped his socks into the laundry basket, out of Peanut's reach !

The papers are from WRMK Travel Light.  I did some stitching and
added some green ribbon - the only bit of embellishment. The plan is
to make a man-friendly card.

This lovestruck guy is called Tommy Valentine Toad. For a change,  I coloured
him with Caran d'Ache Supracolor pencils and to get that mottled complexion
I did not blend with water, instead I used a dry QTip. The body: 210, 220, 225 and 230.
The belly: 41, 51, 71. The hearts: 60, 70. To cut and layer: SB Oval and Scalloped Oval.

On the inside is a row of Pretty Flowers, coloured with  Supracolors,
blended with water. The petals: 90, 100, 112. Leaves: 230, 231

Tommy Valentine is also hopping over to these challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
