52 {C}CT February Theme Challenge

Hello again, my friends, and welcome to another 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown challenge. It's the third one in February and that means it's time for a Theme challenge. Our challenge hostess Jacqueline has picked a great one for you - Christmas Landscape. The typical scene would involve snowy mountains, fir trees, falling snow, reindeers, sleighs, etc. .... perfect if you live in the Northern Hemisphere. But what about our friends in the Argentina, South Africa, Australia and NZ? What is your Christmas landscape like? Because we're an equal opportunities challenge, here's your chance to show (off?!) the beauty of Christmas in your world.

Over here, the days are very short, very cold and very dark.... and very very beautiful; a lot like this:

The papers are from Papermania's Signature collection.  I've kept this
card simple, adding only some ice blue sheer ribbon. The greeting is
from WMS Say It Loud Winter, stamped with Memento Paris Dusk.

And here is the focal image from Chocolate Baroque's Christmas Cheer
set, stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and very lightly coloured with
Caran D'Ache Supracolor pencils. There's one teeny tiny light blue bling
on the star... can you spot it?

Here's the inside. The sentiment is from WMS Say It Loud Winter,
stamped with Memento Paris Dusk and the snowflakes are from
WMS Compliments of the Season stamped with VersaColor Silver.

I'm taking my card to these challenges:

Christmas Card Challenge #11: Silver & Blue
CHNC February Extra: AG Christmas
Christmas Inspirations 01/2014: CAS
Christmas Card All Year 'Round - February: Blue & White
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #246: Christmas
Sister Act Card #45: AG Cards only
Word Art Wednesday #119: AG Family-friendly & Uplifting
Make It Monday #179: AG

Now it's your turn to create a festive card showcasing the Christmas Landscape. In order to be considered for Top Honour and Honourable Mentions your card must follow this week's theme and you must link it to the 52 {Christmas}Card Throwdown Challenge Blog by 6pm GMT on Friday, 21 February. And most importantly, have fun!

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a lovely weekend, my friends. We're experiencing some extreme weather patterns lately, so please stay safe... where ever you are. Take care!

Beijinhos!

  22. I love your cards but the dark landscape one is wonderful! And, it does indeed look so peaceful so the sentiment works great with it too. Our Christmas is usually cold with short winter days too. Sometimes we have a snowy year and other years we have been known to have what we refer to as a "black" winter where no snow falls until spring. Both ways it can be beautiful though!
