52 {C}CT February Colour Challenge

Happy Saturday, my friends! Not only because the weekend is finally here, but it's also time for another 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown.  We had so many lovely entries for last week's sketch challenge. Looks like everybody had so much fun. Are you ready for another one? This week our February hostess, the lovely Jacqueline, brings you a Colour Challenge. Choose at least 3 colours from the colour spots shown plus the yellow/gold.

Here's my card ... it looks like I got a little carried away and used all five colours! Eeeek! I'm hoping it'll pass off as a masculine Christmas card... what do you think?

The plaid background paper is by Papermania. To cut and layer the image I
used SB Oval and Scalloped Oval dies. Other embellies include bling and some twine.

The focal image is a stamp from Chocolate Baroque's Hearth & Home set,
stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Promarkers.
I added tiny gold bling in the muddle of the poinsettia and to jazz up the vase.

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Chocolate Baroque's
"Warm Christmas Greeting" stamped in Memento Rhubarb Stalk.

I'm lighting my lamp over at these challenges:

CHNC February Extra: AG Christmas
Southern Girls: Bling It Bling Bling - gold bling
Christmas Card Challenge #10: Tag / AG Christmas Card
Trimbo Scrap Mania #87: Winter Inspirations
Craft-Dee BowZ February Challenge: AG + Handmade Bow - twine bow
FanTastic Tuesday #21: AG Square - 5" square card
Through The Craft Room Door: AG
Make It Monday #178: AG

Now it's your turn to create a festive card. In order to be considered for Top Honour and Honourable Mentions your card must follow this week's theme and you must link it to the 52 {Christmas}Card Throwdown Challenge Blog by 6pm GMT on Friday, 14 February.

Thanks for stopping by today and have fun!

Beijinhos!

  15. What a gorgeous card, Asha! That stained glass shade actually looks 3D! You really have talent with those markers! I stink at coloring well enough to look realistic, I can never get the shading just right. This is truly stunning. :)
