Eclectic Ellapu #48: For A Boy

Hello there, my friends! It's time for another Eclectic Ellapu challenge. Our hostess this week is the lovely Sheena and she wants us to make a project "For A Boy". Let's get straight to it, shall we? Here's my contribution to this week's challenge:

The background paper, sentiment and image are from PolkaDoodles "BonBon Belles" CD.  This is  birthday card for a dear friend who is an officer in the Navy.

Here's a close-up of the cute pirate. We've always suspected the Officer's true vocation lies elsewhere!

A simple birthday message inside from WMS "Half Pint Heroes".

Challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches #104 - sketch
Jo's Scrap Shack #18 "Anything Goes"
Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #195 "Pirate"
Word Art Wednesday #98 "Anything Goes Inspirational"
By Lori Designs #55 "Hexagons / Chevrons" - chevrons
As You Like It #11 "Favourite Sentiment" - it sums up why I never let age get in the way of doing the things I love.
Make It Monday #159 "Anything Goes"
DL.Art Inspired By "Anything Goes"
Glitter n Sparkle Challenge #51 "Male Cards"

Now it's your turn to make a project for a boy and link it up to the Eclectic Ellapu Challenge blog. For more ideas and inspiration, take a peek at what the rest of the DT have created - you will be amazed!

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to visiting your blogs. Have a creative week, y'all!

Beijinhos!

  6. Love the colors and image of your male card! I like how you gave the sentiment the central place of your card, and the dies you've used makes a great frame for it. Great coloring too!
