Tuesday Throwdown #155: Spotlighting Technique

Well what d'ya know! Its time for another Tuesday Throwdown Challenge. This week we bring you a technique challenge. I love being able to (read: forced to) learn something new. And this week, we want you to have a go at the "Spotlighting Technique".

It's actually easier then you think and there are a couple of great tutorials over at Splitcoaststampers to guide you: Spotlighting Technique and Reverse Spotlighting Technique.

A Day For Daisies has so very generously provided the DT with some cute digis to play with and, hopefully, inspire you to have a go at this technique. For my project I'm using an adorable digi called Night Time Prayer.

The papers are from Crate Paper's Toy Box 6x6 pad. To cut and layer the image I used Spellbinder  dies. Simple embellies: 4 bling and some blue gingham ribbon.  That sweet sentiment is by Kathryne of Stamp Art Design. 

Here's a close-up of the image. I coloured the cute little teddy with SN markers. This images speaks volumes of the innocence of a child. And, there's a lesson in it for all of us. Know that He is listening. Love it!
