Here it is, a birthday card for a 60-year old gentleman who loves the sun and the sea.
A closer look at the image. It's from Chocolate Baroque's Seashore Scenes, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I had so much fun colouring it with Promarkers and a couple of SNs. Doesn't the sun look like an orange!
To mark his age, I made a little flag using a cocktail stick some red CS and silver peel-off. To finish, a little twine bow.
I have the birthday greeting on the inside, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black,
I'm taking this card to these challenges: Word Art Wednesday #85 "Anything Goes with Uplifting Sentiment"; Aud Sentiments Challenge "Summer"; Ribbon Carousel #82 "Fun In The Sun"; I Love Promarkers #173 "Anything Goes"; The Sisterhood of Crafters "It's All About The Boys"; Milk Coffee Challenge "Summer Fun"; CCEE Stampers #1325 "Masculine CAS" and Papertake Weekly "Hot-Hot-Hot".
This would be perfect for this week's Eclectic Ellapu Challenge, so I'm adding it there for extra inspiration. Check it out what my DT sistahs have put on show for you and play along: Celebrate Summer Sunshine.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish y'all a super-sunny and thrilling Thursday. See ya tomorrow!
