Christmas Card Club #12: Christmas Scene

Hello again, my crafty friends! Back with another post and this time I have a Christmas card for you! The lovely Lorraine has set a wonderful challenge for us over at the Christmas Card Club: to create a card with a Christmas Scene. I picked a wintery scene from Chocolate Baroque's Christmas Cheer stamp set and made this card:


The papers are from Papermania's Mistletoe Kisses 6x6 pad. The sentiment is from Chocolate Baroque's Warm  Christmas Greetings clear stamp set. For embellishment, just a simple sheer ribbon in Ice Blue, tied in a bow.

Here's a close-up of the image. I used Graph It markers on the tree and Promarkers  for a hint of green.  For the glistening snow I slapped on (very generously) Stickles in Crystal, Icicle and Frosted Lace. In the sky I dotted some Diamond Stickles for the twinkling stars. Finally, I inked the edges and the sky with TH Faded Jeans. 

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Warm Christmas Greetings set.
