My card this week features butterflies. It's a birthday card for the supervisor of the soup kitchen at our parish church. She's a superwoman who never stops giving. It's hard not to admire her strength, passion and conviction. She's a very down to earth lady who is not impressed by glitz and glitter, so I'm keeping her card true to her inner beauty.

The papers are from Prima "Botanical" 6x6 pad. I cut the papers into half inch strips and stuck them down horizontally. Then I finished the background with some vertical stitching.
The image is from Chocolate Baroque's "Butterfly Easter" set, stamped with Memento Espresso Truffle and coloured with SN and Promarkers.

For cutting and layering I used Spellbinders Mega Deckled Rectangle dies and gave the image a lift with some foam tape.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Chocolate Baroque's "Birthday Words" set.
That's my card for this week's winged challenge. Now it's your turn. You can make anything, a card, tag, scrapbook LO, altered project...whatever takes your fancy. Link up your creation over at the Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog and the DT will drop in to say hi!
In the meantime, I'm playing along with: The Squirrel And The Fox #45 "Summer Or Winter" - summer; Crafty Calendar June Challenge "Things with Wings" ; Card Makin' Mamas #70 "Use Rubber Stamps"; Totally Papercrafts #169 "Anything Goes"; Sister Act Card Challenge 9 "Anything Goes" and Simply Create Too #38 "Bingo"- F for flowers.
